Black Bean Burger and Okra
I made this for dinner last week and it was super good! Here's the recipe:
Black Bean Burger:
1 can black beans, rinsed, drained and mashed
1 cup cooked brown rice (I had a brown rice pilaf left over from a previous dinner that I used, that had some added veggies, which I think took the recipe up a notch!)
1 clove garlic
2 TBS pumpkin
chili powder
oregano
basil
cumin
sea salt (I didn't put measurements for the seasoning, cause I just throw however much I think looks good in.)
Mix all ingredients together and form into four patties. Heat a skillet with some extra virgin olive oil, and brown each of the patties on both sides.

Sat Fat: 1g
Protein: 7g
Fiber: 11g
These were a huge hit at our house. Try em out.
