I Get by with a Little Help from My Friends...and Family

So my mom and I had a great heart to heart the other night about our journeys in weight loss.  We shared about where we've been and where we're going, what's keeping us from getting there and everything else we had on our hearts.  I felt good after talking to her.  Motivated to keep going, knowing I could do it, and working my butt off to get there was going to be well worth is in the end.  I had been down the days leading up to that conversation, and I was a little perplexed about how I got there seeing as how a week ago I was feeling so good.  This really is a war.  And every day there are many battles.  The second I let my guard down, there is room for the enemy to attack, but I am so blessed that I'm not in it alone.  I have people like my mom, and my friend Erin, and Emily that rally around me and push me to keep going.  Whether they are cheering me on, or picking up a sword to fight with me, they are there, and I'm so grateful to them.  So after a few hard days, something came in the mail:
I have the best friends in the world!  My friends Erin and Emily got me this whole package of Turbo Jam Elite.  I tried out the Fat Blaster workout today and when the dvd came to an end and back to the menu I did something I have never done after working out...I pushed play again.  It was that fun!  I was so sad when it ended that I did it all over again.  Now don't me wrong, it was a challenge, but I had so much fun doing it I didn't want my workout to end.  I seriously think this is the best workout for me that I have ever come across.  The music pumps you up, you dance along the way, and you pound out the fat with some kickin kickboxing.  I am totally smitten with Turbo Jam.  I love it!  And I love the support I have.
