I now see why people get addicted to party planning.

Part of my trip out to California included a baby shower for Amanda that me and Claire put together.  We had an absolute blast planning out the party and worked so well together, feeding off of each other's ideas.  It was so pretty and cute and I totally want to plan another party.  It's addictive!

Amanda requested a sort of Alice and Wonderland Tea Party, so this is what we came up with.

As you can see they're expecting a girl and I could not be more happy for Jasen and Amanda!

We made it a pretty low key night of just hanging out with a few friends and celebrating this very special lady.  Complete with scrapbooking some pages in a book for her.

And no party is complete without presents!

I've never been much of a baby person, but little stuff is oh so cute!  Maybe I'm getting older and more sappy...

I also got the chance to catch up with Amanda's sister-in-law Allie, who also happens to be expecting!  So excited for them too!  Allie will be such a good Mom!

It was a simple fun night.  I'm so glad I got to be there for Amanda during this time!

You are such a dear friend Amanda!  It's fitting that this post be on Mother's Day!  You have so much to look forward to and I couldn't be more thrilled for all that life is going to bring through this little bundle of joy!  You and Jasen will be rockstar parents for sure!  Your little girl is the luckiest!
