Here We Go Again

I'm not gonna lie.  Last Christmas was a tough one in a lot of ways.  But being overweight and miserable didn't help the matter at all.  I was pretty depressed and I knew I needed to make some changes and quick.  Jordan got me a sweater for Christmas and it didn't fit, so I took it back and exchanged it for workout dvds.  I got the Biggest Loser's Cardio Max, Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred, and Jillian Michael's No More Trouble Zones.  On December 27th, I decided I was done celebrating the holidays and I was ready to get to work.  I remember the first time I did the 30 Day Shred.  It was only 20 minutes and a Level 1 workout.  I thought to myself, "This is gonna be a piece of cake!"  Well I was wrong.  I thought I was going to throw up when I was done and I felt so out of shape.  Towards the end of January I was in the groove and had already lost 12 pounds.  I was serious about doing this, so I took some pictures and all of my measurements.
Weight: 208
BMI: 31.7
MEASUREMENTS:
Chest: 39
Waist: 38
Hips: 51
Thighs: 30 1/2
Calves: 16 1/2
Upper Arms: 15

This Christmas things were much different.  This year I got clothes for Christmas, because I didn't have any wintery stuff that fit, because it was all too big.  I got workout dvds, not because I was tired and miserable, but because I've made a commitment to good health and taking care of myself.  So here I sit on December 27th, ready to take on a new challenge.
So here we go again with the before pics:
Weight: 167 (a few pounds up from the holidays)
BMI: 25.4
MEASUREMENTS:
Chest: 36
Waist: 33
Hips: 42 1/2
Thighs: 24 1/2
Calves: 15 1/2
Upper Arms: 12

Can't wait to track my progress and see what the end results will be!  Will you commit with me this year to health and nutrition and finding a better you?  I'm ready to help and be an encouragement!
