What a fun weekend it has been. Erin and I finally got to get together and do our first ever workouts together. We hit the gym yesterday and I forgot how much I loved being in a gym. And today we walk/jogged a 5k for her Birthday. I'm proud of how far Erin has come and all of the progress she's made. Before the race, I asked her her average time for 3.1 miles and she said somewhere between 45 and 55 minutes, so we set the goal to get done in 50. Well, we crossed the finish line around 47:30! WOOHOO! She later informed me this was 10 minutes faster from when she started back at the beginning of our whole weight loss challenge. Good job Erin! Can't wait for the next one!
P.S. Her Father-in-Law also did the race with us, so that's who those extra feet belong to.
