Where has the Time Gone?

I find it hard to post a lot when we're on the road.  But I'm still here, and still goin strong.

This past week we've been in Tulsa, OK like I mentioned in my previous post.  We stayed with our friends the Wilson's part of the time and one of the things that was nice about that, was having a gym to workout in.  Their apartment complex had a pretty decent gym in it, and I found myself in there every day.  I love starting my mornings out with a workout.  And I did all of my running on one of these this week:
And yes it had a tv built in, which was quite nice when I had to run for 6 miles!  Beforehand I thought I would just die, but it really wasn't so bad.  I really love the mental game that comes with running, and the monotony that comes with running on a treadmill is a whole new challenge.  Here's what this week's runs looked like.





I was pretty pleased with my time and my runs.  The treadmill really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.  And it was pretty easy to pick up the pace.  In all of my running, I've been pretty happy to see that I do well to keep my pace in my runs pretty consistent too.  I'm feeling great about all of my hard work, and where I am in my running, and I'm getting excited for my half-marathon in October.  I know it will come quickly.  OH...and in good news with that, my Dad is running with me.  Well maybe not with me, but we're running in the same race none the less.  That will be a blast!

  1. That piece of machine is the only thing I like about that gym. Keep up the good work...you'll get under the '70 hump.
