Summer--We Have a Love/Hate Relationship

So this morning started out great.  Jordan and I headed out for a walk, (he's trying to get more into exercising, so we go on walks in the morning a few days out of the week) and it was a gorgeous morning.  But then something went terribly wrong.  Jordan started complaining about the bugs.  I thought he was crazy, but then all of the sudden they started attacking me.  They were like killer mosquitoes, and had nearly eaten me alive by the time we got home.  Seriously...check out these pics:
It was really quite strange and we ended up running home the last bit to try and get away from them.  I didn't feel them bothering me so much at that point, so I suppose the moral of that story is that we need to kick up the pace honey!  Luckily I had a delicious breakfast in store that would make all of my frustrations go away!
Some fresh fruit!  In another one of my garage sale steals! This was such a good combination of cherries, black berries, nectarines, peaches, and plums.  I can't wait to have more tomorrow.  And I also had one of these bad boys with it:
I think I have definitely perfected this recipe to my liking.  I will share it with you soon!  But I will tell you a little secret.  I made my own chocolate chips for it.  Crazy!  I know!  But it was so easy.  I found them on Oh She Glows page here. Well I must be off to figure out my schedule for tomorrow and the days that follow...I'll share it with you when I do and let you in on what it's all about.
