One Last Hurrah!

Oh how I will miss you Smith's Market.  Since we're moving out of the good ole Hutch, K on Saturday I asked Jordan if I could visit my favorite grocery store one last time and say my goodbyes.  Priorities.  I loved visiting this place whenever I got the chance (we were always in and out of town, the whole year that we lived here).  Nestled on Main Street right in the heart of downtown...a friendly staff...great prices...and amazing food...what more is there?
Plus they have a great slogan.  EAT YOUR VEGETABLES!  It's printed everywhere...even on t-shirts!  I wonder if I can convince Jordan to let me get one.
Isn't it the cutest little place to shop.  I've always been obsessed with grocery stores.  I could spend hours shopping...but this one takes the cake on the best Mom and Pop Shop I've ever been to.  I love supporting local business...especially when they're so homey and quaint.  I couldn't go in without picking up a few items to hit the road with.  So here's my top things I came out with:
I've been looking for coconut butter everywhere, but no one has it in these parts.  I've been using coconut oil for quite some time now, but I was excited for this awesome find!
So I'm obsessed with coconut...but look at those flakes.  I've had this very brand before but only tiny little shreds.  I cannot wait to make some goodies with this stuff.  Some granola bars will definitely be in the works very soon!
After having a sample of some GF hot cereal not that long ago, I've been craving it ever since.  Though this one is not GF...it's still gonna be good.  I made some for lunch today with some nutritional yeast, curry powder, and a pinch of sea salt, and then topped it with hummus, tomato sauce, homemade black bean burger, onions, and avocado.  OH ME OH MY OH!  So delicious.  I didn't even get a picture of it, cause I couldn't put my spoon down long enough.  There will be more opportunities though.
Are there any cool local grocery stores in your area that you like to shop at?  Do you like grocery shopping?  Or are you someone who is the in and out kind of person?
It's definitely something I'm going to miss doing on a regular basis.  I wonder what grocery shopping in the Philippines will be like?
